I've been tagged by Al!

1) Crowds of people make me uncomfortable, not on subways mind you, but crowds of people at clubs, or concerts.  It makes me uneasy to the point where it's really hard for me to have a good time, I think it's some weird kind of paranoia.

2)  I worry far too much about what people's opinions of me are, to the point of obsession really.  I'm not entirely certain that this is a bad thing however, since I have no real regrets and take pride in at least trying to do the right thing.

3) Sometimes I wish I was closer with my mom and brother

4) I am a real sucker for animals and really want a dog or cat

5) In a lot of ways i'm very immature, for example, i think that SpikeTV show, MXC, is really funny,  it's a guilty pleasure i guess.

okay, i'm a lazy guy, so i'll tag a couple who haven't been tagged, and tag those who have already been tagged but have yet to take part:

Diego, Pam, Colin, Sid, Chris

COMEDY CHAPPELLE SPEAKS: WHAT I DID FOR $50 MILLION
Sat May 14 2005 19:48:54 ET

**Exclusive**

Dave Chappelle Found! Talks Exclusively with TIME Magazine in South Africa

"I figured, Let me just cut myself off from everybody, take a minute and pull a Flintstone-stop a speeding car by using my feet as the brakes. I am surprised at what I would do for $50 million. I am surprised at what people around me would do for me to have $50 million," Dave Chappelle tells TIME's Christopher John Farley in an exclusive interview.

CHAPPELLE tells TIME he's not in mental hospital or drug rehab, debunking earlier reports in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY and elsewhere.

The full story, as well as exclusive photos of Chappelle in South Africa, will appear on TIME.com Sunday morning and in the issue that hits newsstands Monday.

Hail To The King Baby!

The final results are in and I have been declared this years basketball pool champ. It was a close finish and nothing was decided until last night, but once the dust settled I was the last man standing atop the lifeless shells of my opponents.

I now look ahead to the coming season, where I will strive for a repeat and a chance to solidify my reputation as the greatest pound for pound basketball pool champ that ever was.

top ten fav comic books/series

Honourable mentions:

Batman: Hush - pure cheese, but it was fun.  and the teasing of jason todd coming back to life and becoming a villian was pretty awesome too.  jim lee's art is solid.

Catwoman-i only have the first 25 issues, since they changed the art and i really loved the 'older-looking-classical-crime noir' feel it had

Daredevil - either the Man Without Fear mini, kevin smith's guardian devil are both real good.

Wildstorm/ABC comics.  planetary, authority, top ten, sleeper, tom strong. all great.

10)Lone Wolf and Cub

haven't read all of it, but from what i've seen it's solid and i would like to get my hands on them one day....

9) marvel's ultimate line:

all of marvels best characters being rewritten and reinvented w/o 40 years of baggage.

8) JLA: Tower of Babel

7) Identity Crisis

collecting the series was great, lots of twists, and in some cases the secondary plot points were more interesting than the main murder mystery.

6) Kingdom Come

alex ross' paintings are great

5) Batman: Killing Joke

4) Preacher

pretty crazy comic, lots of people complain about the ending, but i thought it ended well.  i think what happened is that half-way through Garth Ennis realized he didn't want to write about religion so much, but honour and friendship.

3) The Dark Knight Returns

this and ultimate spider-man were probably the 2 comics most responsible for getting me back into comics.

2) Maus.

1) Watchmen

my favourite parts are the origin of Dr. Manhattan, origin of Rorshach, and the big reveal at the end.
